Abstract

This research study presents a documentary review about bees and the state of danger in their existence, given the imminent reduction in their population globally, highlighting the vital importance of these pollinating insects by virtue and beneficial for the development in keep ecosystems in balance from the reproduction of countless plants that produce food for human survival. This research, based on scientific articles, reveals those factors that directly affect the subsistence of bees, among which the indiscriminate use of pesticides, deforestation and climate change are detailed, which are leading to the population of these invaluable insects by a worrying path towards extinction. The theoretical framework highlights the essential role of bees in pollination, underlining that at least 75% of food crops worldwide depend in some way on them; However, it has been possible to identify in detail the threats that these pollinators face, the proposals and suggested measures, such as stricter regulations on pesticides and sustainable agricultural practices, that will offer a path towards the protection and conservation of bees.
