Architectural interpretation of building typologies, in the road axis of Carrera 5 of the Historic Center of Cali Interpretación arquitectónica de tipologías edilicias, en el eje vial de la carrera 5 del Centro Histórico de Cali

Abstract

This article condenses the information related to the research project "Interpretation of public space in front of the building typologies, on the road axis of the race 5 of the historic center of Cali" developed from the Semillero of research Trazo in the Academy Foundation Drawing Professional. The project focuses on the development of a careful analysis of where their edificatory conditions, responding to the union of building typologies, highlighting particular value in each building. The edificatory characterization takes place in the historic center of Cali, which includes different architectures and the identity for the city. The architects Susana Jimenez and Alvaro Lozada, who, from their thematic specifications, they are taken as reference to support such local theoretical classification and the starting point for establishing the architectural interpretation.
