This project as a reflection on the PD-0320 project: Interaction model mediated by the narrative of intergenerational memory within a community of the LUMEN seedbed of the Visual Design program that establishes a relationship between Design, memory and social re-enchantment about inheritance cultural heritage with respect to the technologies that make it possible and the context that experiences it. This focused on the “Paradise City” urbanization process that is part of the Cali 2030 Special District agenda on one of the most emblematic areas of the urban perimeter such as the El Calvario neighborhood, through a process of radical Gentrification that makes a large part of the collective memory of the inhabiting community showing only negative aspects, which has created stigmas and negative perceptions, which although they cannot be denied, are not the only ones, nor the most significant, since families have been formed there for two or more generations and Sports, cultural and business ventures have emerged, as well as characters who have contributed a lot to Cali culture and identity. For this reason, from the visual design a tactic was undertaken to make visible that this process of gentrification, already unstoppable, must recognize that other memories exist and therefore, a research/creation process was developed from a qualitative ethnographic approach with the participation of the community through the 8 LETRAS collective for the design and dissemination of manifestations of affirmative collective memory through an audiovisual system within the context of action itself and starring its inhabitants.
