Abstract

The following article addresses the evolution and challenges presented in the last decade of the Colombian financial system, as well as the strategies that banking entities must adopt to remain in the environment, their role in the Colombian economy and the institutional changes that it has experienced. over time, being competitive in the long term. The organizational transformation in the Colombian banking sector, the importance of technology and financial inclusion are addressed, highlighting the relevance of resilience and adaptability in an uncertain global economic environment.

 Therefore, the objective of the proposal is to analyze the significant changes in the structure of organizational control of entities in the financial sector, specifically in the banking sector. In the Methodology they addressed two types of research that complement each other and are developed in parallel: descriptive research and documentary research. These methodologies are used to analyze the structure of organizational control in the banking sector during the period between 2014 and 2024.
